SUMMARY of Sailing Experience:

Have been sailing for more than 50 years having owned five sailboats from a Sunfish to a Vindo 45 (see Mate's Worlds Best Sailboats). Have sailed in the Baltic Sea, the Mediterranean, the Adriatic, Caribbean, as well as Sydney and the Whitsundays in Australia and the New England coast extensively from Connecticut to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.

*Served as a Mate delivering a 65' Gulfstar from St. Croix to Annapolis. Made the trip, Annapolis to Boston, three times.

*Served as a Mate delivering a 50' Conyplex from Trogier(just North of Split in Coatia) to Palermo , Sicily. *Delivered a 38' Irwin from New Hampshire to Norfolk, VA, and in January, 2003, delivered a 38' Wauquiez from Atlantic City to Miami, FL.

*Served as Mate delivering a 47' Hylas from Newport to St. Martin in November 2003. Delivery crew on WAR BABY (ex-Tenacious owned by Ted Turner) from Cogolin, near St. Tropez, France in the Mediterranean, to Westbrook, CT calling into Mallorca, Gibralter, the Azores and Bermuda (May/June 2004).

*Served as a Mate delivering a Tratan 4100 to St. Lucia, November 2004 and brought her back from Tortola to Cape Cod in May 2005.

*Captain on a Concordia delivery from Bucks Harbor, Maine to Stamford, CT and a Hunter 450 from Norfolk, VA to Portsmouth, NH, Spring 2005.

*First Mate on an Able 44 Chuck Paine designed M/V from Boston to Norfolk, VA in the fall of 2005. *Operated a 30 passenger tour boat for the National Park Service on the canals of Lowell, MA during the summer of 2005.

SUMMARY of Business Experience:

Formerly an International Sales and Marketing executive in the field of data and telecommunications. Enjoyed two ex-patriot assignments; one in Brussels, Belgium, and one in London, UK. Traveled extensively on business and managed to meet fellow yachtsman everywhere from Australia to Sweden. Made a career change from an avocation to a vocation,becoming a professional sailor with appropriate U.S. Coast Guard licenses. Also launched Navy Yard Associates, L.L.C. an enterprise focusing on marine related businesses such as sail training, yacht delivers, consulting, and marketing.
